Other Methods of the RBN - Fake Codec Sites

Another method deployed by the RBN is the use of fake codec websites, which act similar to the fake malware sites. A codec, for those that don't know, is a program that lets an operating system play video/audio in a given format, such as DivX. The visitor is lured to the fake codec sites and prompted to download one of the programs. When they do, an exploit is loaded into their machine for any number of purposes.
