Experts have identified several characteristics that make up a good web hosting plan. It should have an easy-to-use control panel, Pop3 email accounts and aliases, FTP accounts and virtual FTPs along with the control panel, backup, web statistics, MySQL support, webmail, SMTP, virus and spam filter, HTTP SSL access and sub domains. LeaseWeb incorporates all of these features into their hosting plans.
LeaseWeb products come in two broad categories: Linux and Windows plans.
The Linux plans:
1. Linux Bronze
Linux Bronze costs 2.99 Euros or $4.72.
The features of the Linux Bronze Plan are:
100 MB disk space, 50 GB data traffic, 10 e-mail boxes POP3, web mail, virus/spam filter , PHP MySQL and Plesk Control Panel. Other features available (some for an additional fee) include daily backup, CGI/Perl scripts allowed, 100 e-mail aliases, e-mail auto responder, bSMTP, e-mail catch all, e-mail forwards, firewall, FTP Access, helpdesk support, PHP My Admin, SSL, 5 Sub domains. Contract term is 12 months, as is the billing cycle.
2. Linux Silver
Linux Silver costs 6.99 Euros or $11
The features of the Linux Silver Plan are:
One GB disk space, 250 GB data traffic, 100 e-mail boxes POP3, Webmail, virus/spam filter, PHP MySQL, Plesk Control Panel, daily backup, CGI/Perl Scripts allowed, DNS management, 500 e-mail aliases, e-mail auto responder and bSMTP. For additional fees, the following services are also available: e-mail catch all, 250E mail forwards, firewall, FTP access, helpdesk support, PHP My Admin, 20 SSL, statistics and 10 Sub domains. Contract term and billing cycle is the same as for Linux Bronze.
3. Linux Gold
Linux Gold costs 15.99 Euros or $25
The features of the Linux Gold Plan are:
10 GB disk space, 1000 GB data traffic, 500 e-mail boxes POP3, webmail, virus/spam filter, PHP MySQL, Plesk Control Panel, daily backup, CGI/Perl scripts allowed, DNS management, 1000 e-mail aliases, e-mail auto responder, bSMTP. For additional fees, the following services are available: e-mail catch all, 500 e-mail forwards, firewall, FTP access, helpdesk support, PHP My Admin, SSL, statistics and 20 sub domains. The contract term and billing cycle for this plan are six months.
