Do you need to talk to your colleagues? Consider usingGoogle Talk. Google Talk comes in two versions. You can either download the application or use its web-based interface. If you choose to download the application, you can perform several features with it, such as instant messaging in real-time. Instant messaging has become a popular method of communication for businesses. Google Talk also enables you to send and receive voice mail messages. Another feature you'll like about Google Talk is that if you're signed in to the application, it will alert you of messages in your Gmail inbox.

If you decide to use the web-based version ofGoogle Talk, you can access some of the same features you'll find in the desktop version, such as instant messaging. But a great feature you'll find in the web-based version is group chat. If you need to have a conference call with your colleagues, this is the ideal application to use. There's no limit to how many people can participate in the call.
Another task you can do with Google Talk is media previews. Media previews enables you to cut and paste your URLs from video websites, such as Google Video or YouTube, and insert them into your chats. You can also do this with your own videos. Then you just use your chat window to view the videos. Google Talk gives you the ability to add and embed the application's gadget into your website or blog.
