We reached the end of this two-part series, and now we know enough to decide which one to choose. Or do we? There is no such thing as a clear winner. This is even more true with Netvibe's UWA system implemented.
Both of them do the basic job in an efficient and simple way without needlessly complicating the situation.
Under these circumstances, the one you should choose is determined by its additional parts. We must recognize that the most popular home page builder is Netvibes. It looks fancier than iGoogle.
However based on my personal experience, I would recommend that you use iGoogle if you plan to use the feed, gadget and application part. Google is more flexible and faster to configure at the beginning.
If you aim higher and want to develop a social life, then the most appropriate site for your home page is Netvibes. The Universe creation will turn out to be one of the best things invented on the Internet.
